KansasHorizons > Christmas Blizzard 2009 - A rather historic photo shot on Neosho street facing East in Burlington Kansas at 1:45 AM Christmas morning during the power outage that started about 10:00 PM Christmas eve and lasted another hour beyond the picture. The available lighting was reflecting in the blowing snow from a string of lights around the roof of the courthouse a half a block behind me that was running on a backup generator. The city had been working on the streets but had stopped for the night. The Shot was an 86 second time lapse with a 50mm lens at F1.4 at ISO 400.
KansasHorizons > Micro Snow Macros - The largest snow flakes here were about 3/16th of an inch in diameter.
